How do I fill out my post text personalization parameters?
Post text personalization parameters allow you to seamlessly customize the copy of your posts without having to make changes every time you schedule content.
By adding parameters like “Weekend Mass Days and Times” and “Informal Parish Name”, you can fill in these parameters once and use them repeatedly in post copy without any extra work.
To fill in your post text personalization parameters do the following:
- Log in to Catholic Social Media, click on your profile image, then click on “Social Media Accounts.”
- From there, click “Edit Parameters” for the group of accounts you’d like to edit. (Keep in mind, each set of social media accounts gets its own set of parameters.)
- From there, fill in the boxes! Be sure to hover over the tooltip next to each one and make sure your input would make sense in the example sentence.
- Now, whenever a post includes a parameter, Catholic Social Media will automatically input your text into the copy of the post!
How do I add a personalization parameter to my post?
- Click “Create Post” from the Planner or Calendar section
- Put your cursor where you would like to insert the parameter
- Click “Select Parameter”
- Select the parameter you want to add and it will populate in the copy of your post
