Analytics Filters

The analytics page is helpful for understanding how your parishes and content are performing. The filters on the lefthand side (shown below) will help you tailor this page so that you can have exactly the right information at your fingertips:

  • Highest/Lowest Post Rate: This will automatically filter your view based on what posts have been scheduled the most or least for the time period you have selected. By default, this time period is the current month.
  • Authors: By default, you will see all content posted by your diocesan team and the Catholic Social Media team. Uncheck the "CSM Content" author to filter out content from our team, and vice versa.
  • Distribution Groups: Check and uncheck your distribution groups to see how content is performing within certain sectors of your diocese. By default, all distribution groups are selected.
  • Content Tags: Check and uncheck how content that has been tagged in a certain way is performing. By default, all content tags are selected.
  • Time: Use these two dropdowns to filter for exactly what time period you would like to look into. By default, this page is set for the current month, but you can also choose an entire year or one week (Monday through Sunday). These filters are helpful for understanding trends or answering common questions such as, "What were the most popular posts of 2023?"
  • Schedule type: This filters your view by the types of posts that you can publish on Catholic Social Media: content that was set up to be visible for a day, a week, a month, a season, or forever.
  • Parishes: Use this if you want to select just a few parishes to filter your view.
